A Medieval Evening
Well you arrive at the ‘castle’ and get your tickets then tour the medieval village whilst you wait for the tournament, Have to say it was very – seen it – after all we are British you know, although our castles don’t have aircon units on the top!
Its very tacky but great fun, everyone sits on trestles at the side in colour teams according to your knight – we were blue. Our knight looked about 12! We ate soup and half a chicken each which prompted Dan to estimate the number of people in there and announce how many chickens had been slaughtered to feed us all! About 400. It was all very funny and entertaining. I caught the flower from my knight although Nick says he was aiming for him and when he eventually lost Dan was very unforgiving. A good knight/night was had by all.

We only saw about half of it because in between queuing and fast passing and having to get out of the heat, we had had enough by 4. So headed home for a swim and pizza – very American.
