I am writing this on Tuesday evening which is now Tuesday night for you, with a large glass of red and a sun burn to match!
As this covers two days I’ll start with yesterday.
We went to sea world, not a very early start – again – but what a place! We arrives and queued to get in and browsing the queue, as I do, who should be stood next to us but Dan’s friend from his class back home, Michael and his family, what are the odds of that!
Dan was thrilled and would probably have stayed with him all day given the choice but we headed off to the dolphin tank, stopping on the way to feed and touch the sting rays, at the dolphins we were too late to get in the feeding bit so had to get to the trailer trash end but although we didn’t touch any it was still amazing to see them so close up.
After that we headed to the first show - the dolphin show of course – and that was fantastic as well. But the next thing topped even that.

This is a you tube of someone riding it
And no I didn’t go on – do I look mad!
But Dan and Nick did
TWICE!
And they are going on the hulk when we go to Island of adventure
There is so much to see there but we ended up at the shamu show having been to the arctic simulator ride first which left three of us vomiting and one – Luce – screaming for more – wasn’t she the one who vommed on an airplane!
Shamu was very schmaltzy, we had to clap all the brave heroes in the armed forces first – yeh right!
But still impressive. However the heat got to us then and we headed off to get dinner at our fav steak restaurant and fell into bed very tired. Hence no blog!
Today we got a decent start and got to the water park at 10ish – and it was still full! But such fun. You have to search out a seat but having dumped our stuff we headed to the wave pool, its huge and basically everyone bobs around waiting and then there is a huge bang and a massive 7ft wave comes out and depending where you stand (it gets smaller as it travels) you get to ride/be demolished by the wave! We started off a 4ft and kept moving forwards – everyone screams when the bang goes off – its fantastic.
Having tired of that we split up and had a lazy river ride and then a water slide or two and Nick and Dan went on the swim with sharks experience but having queued for 40 mins Dan got in the water and because it was soooo cold – it’s full of fish – he bottled out but Nick really enjoyed it. We got lunch and started to notice we were a bit pink, infact we had all burnt despite being smothered in sun cream! We had to leave. So that is our last two days. Off to animal kingdom tomorrow. See you’ll.

Wow! That ride looks amazing. I don't know whether I would be brave enough but it is the sort of thing Andrew would enjoy.
