Since three of us were up at 7 this morning (me coughing, Lucy earache nick listening to me coughing and Lucy complaining) We woke Dan and got to universal at 9 as it opened, its weird as we went there on the very first day and this is our penultimate day, we feel very much more knowledgeable now!
Our early arrival meant Nick and Dan – the coaster two – were able to hit the rides before the crowds.

Universal Island of adventure is a good park but with a lot of large rides, and a few smaller ones for me and my baby.
We couldn’t face eating out again so catered at home, with the help of the local supermarket cooked chicken.

We tend to watch a lot of news programmes as any other programme is so interrupted by adverts that they are almost impossible to keep watching.
The news programmes are full of info about America mainly the weather which seems to preoccupy them all the time and then the occasional story about school shootings or police shootings or road crashes,
